Scriptwriters Note: We chose farm animals as our film heroes because, having lived with human beings for eons, they seem more ordinary and less interesting than wild animals.
They are considered as goods, manufactured products for human evolution. That was what we used to see, before we made this film. While spending time with the animals in the mountains during shooting, we understood deeply that every single animal was an individual who had its own life. In the mountains, far away from human hands, they were so different, unrecognizably different.
