Sade to Release New Album

Sade is making music again. The soulful English group fronted by 50-year-old singer Sade Adu will release a new album Feb. 8, according to Epic Records. "Soldier of Love" will be the group's first studio album since 2000's "Lovers Rock."

All five of Sade's studio albums have landed in the Top 10 on the Billboard Top 200, selling more than 50 million copies worldwide."Soldier of Love" was recorded in England and produced by the band and longtime collaborator Mike Pela.

Biography
Sade Adu (born 16 January 1959), born Helen Folasade Adu, is the front woman and lead vocalist of the popular English group Sade. She was born in Ibadan, Nigeria of a Nigerian father and English mother, then moved to England. She was raised in Clacton-on-Sea, and moved to Camden Town, London, in 1984.
She initially was the vocalist for two UK funk groups, Arriva and Pride, before launching the group that bears her name with an appearance on the Channel 4 variety show The Tube in 1984. Sade has also appeared in films such as Absolute Beginners (1986), to the soundtrack of which she made contributions, and on the Brazilian soap opera Um Anjo Caiu do Céu.
Her name is pronounced roughly 'shah-day' (IPA / ʃɑːdeɪ/, SAMPA or Kirshenbaum /SA:deI/).
