Eat cassava bread; it is more healthy and Economical – Minister of Agriculture

 

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Akinwunmi Adesina on Friday said that the cassava breads currently produced by UTC cost 60 percent of wheat bread and taste better than white flour wheat bread.
Mr Adesina, who was speaking as a guest on Channels Television’s breakfast show, Sunrise Daily, said that the cassava bread is healthy “because the glycaemic index of the cassava bread is lower than that of wheat bread.”
