Kidnapped actress, Nkiru Sylvanus freed

Actress Nkiru Sylvanus and ex-Mr Nigeria Kenneth Okolie have been freed by their kidnappers. Nkiru and Kenneth were released less than an hour ago in Owerri. The kidnappers tied their eyes and dropped them off at an unknown location where they were able to call friends to come pick them up. No details on whether they paid a ransom.

Kidnapped actress, Nkiru Sylvanus, breathed the fresh air of freedom yesterday, after she was sensationally freed by her abductors barely a week of holding her captive.

A source close to the actress disclosed to Daily Sun that indeed Sylvanus had been freed by her kidnappers and she was at the police station as at 10.44pm yesterday. It was, however, learnt that security operatives barred her from speaking to the press for now.

It was also learnt that all through her captivity,, there were fears that an insider was feeding her abductors with information about effort being made to rescue her.
