The Super Eagles of Nigeria, today, defeated Cote d'Ivoire to qualify
for the semi finals of the African Cup of Nations in South Africa. Goals
from Emenike and Sunday Mba were enough for Nigeria to kick Cote
d'Ivoire out of the competition that ended 2-1.
Emenike opened
scores from a free kick tipped to him by Mikel Obi. Tiote equalised for
the Elephants of Cote d'Ivoire at the beginning of the second half
