The new head of the Church of England will officially start work after a ceremony at Canterbury Cathedra.
 
The 105th Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, will be officially enthroned today in a spectacular church service.
The new head of the Church of England will officially start work after a ceremony at Canterbury Cathedral.

Prince Charles and wife Camilla as well as Prime Minister David Cameron will be among the 2,000 people attending.
Representatives of major world religions including Muslims, Jews and Sikhs and senior figures from the Roman Catholic and orthodox churches have also been invited.

The event is the last stage in Archbishop Welby's appointment following his confirmation of election at St Paul's Cathedral last month.
