Senator Ewherido dies at 50

              LATE   Senator Pius Akpo Ewherido

  Senator Pius Akpo Ewherido, the only Democratic Peoples Party (DPP) senator, died on Sunday 30^th June at the National Hospital in Abuja. He was 50.

Also that the Ewu, Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State-born legislator, was rushed to the hospital, following a sudden rise in his blood pressure.

His death threw Delta State into shock and disbelief.

Comrade Larry Amaka Otejiri from Owahwa Town In Ughelli South Local Government in Delta State described the late Ewherido’s death as “Lost of a Gen”.

 

Comrade Larry Amaka Otejiri in his condolence message told our reporter: “Members of the Order of Kindred community in Warri will greatly miss this young promising man.”
