The ministry of health on Friday donated 24,000 condoms to members of parliament
The red-cover condoms were delivered to parliament by state minister of Health Sarah Opendi. They were received by the committees on Health and HIV/AIDS chairpersons Sarah Kayagi and Dr. Kenneth Omona.
Opendi dispelled MPs’ fears that there was a shortage of condoms in the country. She said, the MPs should however use the condoms faithfully.
“We have enough condoms in the country. This is just to prove some of the members who have been saying there are no condoms in the country wrong,” she said.
