Ninth in the league and well off the pace... United still have plenty to smile!!!

They've already lost three times this season and spent the international break languishing ninth in the Barclays Premier League.
But if David Moyes and his Manchester United squad are feeling any pressure over their sub-par start to the season, it wasn't showing in training on Friday morning.

Nani, Patrice Evra, Robin van Persie and even the out-of-favour Shinji Kagawa laughed and larked around at Carrington as United prepared for their home match against Southampton.

United, who have just 10 points from their seven matches to date and enter the match in an unfamiliar position staring up at fourth-placed Saints.

Van Persie and strike partner Wayne Rooney continued their excellent form during the international pause. Rooney scored in both England's qualifiers against Montenegro and Poland as they qualified for the World Cup.

Van Persie, meanwhile, grabbed a hat-trick against Hungary to overtake Patrick Kluivert as his country's all-time top goalscorer.
Midfielder Michael Carrick, right-back Chris Smalling and forward Danny Welbeck also played a part in England's victories.
United will assess the condition of midfielder Tom Cleverley prior to the match after he withdrew from the England squad because of a calf injury.

Defender Rio Ferdinand may return from a groin problem.
A potential England player of the future, Adnan Januzaj, will be hoping he keeps his place after scoring twice in United's last outing against Sunderland.
