In view of recent happenings in our
beloved country, the organizers of DEMOCRACY
DAY JAMBOREE have repackaged the event to
Democracy Day Peace Initiative! Still slated for
Thursday May 29, 2014 there will be a
Celebrity Walk for Peace (Say No To
Violence & Terrorism Match)
by 4pm.
Matching start @ IBOM PLAZA, UYO by 6pm
Democracy Day Peace Concert @ Centre Stage at
Playground, Uyo.
All in one day!!!!!!
The event
is to organized to mark 15yrs of Democracy
in Nigeria and the 7th Anniversary of Gov Akpabio's Administration.
It will also serve as a platform to
re-echo the need for peace in Nigeria as well admonish the youths against being
used as tools for terrorist activities in their communities.
Expected to grace the event are Professionals, Youth Groups, Women,
Business Community, Politicians, Entertainers and other Eminent Nigerians.
