Harrison Ford isn't exactly ready to laugh it up like a fuzzball just
yet.
Although the "Star Wars: Episode VII" star successfully
completed surgery to repair his broken leg Thursday, photos surfaced of him in
a wheelchair leaving the central London hospital where the procedure was done
on Saturday.
It's the first time Ford has been spotted since sustaining the injury
on June 12.
"His surgery was successful and he will begin rehab shortly,"
his rep said in a statement obtained by the Daily News on
June 19. "He's doing well and looks forward to returning to work."
The 71-year-old actor, who is reprising his role as Han Solo
in the film, is reportedly returning to the U.S. to begin rehabilitation.
He may not be able to return to the movie set for six to
eight weeks after he was injured at Britian's Pinewood Studios when a hydraulic
door reportedly fell on him from his iconic spaceship, The Millennium Falcon.
Following the accident, he was airlifted to nearby John
Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

took place.
The highly anticipated film is set to release on Dec. 18,
2015, and Lucasfilm and Disney announced the filming is still on track despite
Ford's injury.
However, since the incident director J.J. Abrams is said to
have had to "juggle things, bring some scenes forward and push others
back," a source told London's Mirror.
The "Indiana Jones" star previously described
himself as a "battered old Ford," but still confessed he prefers to
do his own stunts.
"I keep on coming back for more," he said in a previous
interview, according to the Daily Mail. "If it doesn't look real
on the screen then an audience does not believe what it sees."
This isn't the first time Ford has been injured on a movie set as he's
pulled muscles and damaged a disc in his back in the past.
"Although I do my own running, jumping and falling," he said.
"I always try to keep myself from being hurt. So I know what will work and
what won't."
