Reina, who has been with the Reds
for nine years, fell down the pecking order following the arrival of Simon Mignolet
from Sunderland last summer.
The Spaniard, currently on World Cup
duty in Brazil, spent last season on loan in Naples, where he linked up with
his former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez.
He still has two years remaining on
his contract at Anfield and Brendan Rodgers is
keen to move him on permanently.
The Serie A outfit are keen to sign
Reina on a full-time deal, despite Benitez publicly ruling out a move.
His wages are still proving a
stumbling block to a switch being completed, however.
The Italians were paying more than
half of Reina’s £80,000-a-week wages last season and if he does leave Liverpool
then PSG, along with Turkish giants Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, could step in.
