Actor Michael Jace was arrested in the fatal
shooting of his wife, April Jace, on Monday at her south Los Angeles,
California, home. He confessed to police officers that he fired at his wife and
he remains in police custody Tuesday, with bond set at $1,000,000.

Lowe from FX’s “The Shield,” a role he
played from 2002-2008, but here are a few facts you may not know about the
actor and his late wife:

Jace appeared in 89 episodes of the "The Shield,"
which, according to ABC, is the longest-running
role of his 22-year acting career.

Jace has had guest appearances on other
TV shows such as “Southland,” “Private Practice,” “Burn Notice,” “Rizzoli &
Isles,” “CSI,” “Law & Order” and “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.” He portrayed
NBA star Michael Jordan in the 1999 TV movie “Michael Jordan: An American
Hero.”

He’s also graced the silver screen in films such as Russell
Crowe’s “State of Play” and blockbusters such as “Planet of the Apes,” “The
Replacements,” “Clear and Present Danger” and “Forrest Gump.”

the Classic Stage Conservatory in New York and performed in theaters across the
country before pursuing a career in TV and film.
