2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Review: How It Got Better

When the current Jeep Grand Cherokee came out back in 2010, it was an instant hit and Jeep is hoping that that will be the same story for the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The new Grand Cherokee will come with new tech, new diesel engine and visual updates.

The most obvious visual improvement done on the vehicle includes a new set of LED headlights. Inside the cabin, the Jeep has been given a new display technology and the rest of the layout remain pretty much the same. The vehicle will now also come with TFT digital gauge cluster and Uconnect which is an optional feature.
Powering the Grand Cherokee is a 3.0 liter diesel turbocharged V6 mated to an eight speed ZF automatic transmission. The engine can produce 240hp and 420 lb-ft torque. There is also a 3.6 liter V6 and a 5.7liter V8 engine option.

The best part of the Grand Cherokee is their off-road abilities. The vehicle’s Quadra Drive 4X4 system, and adjustable air suspension make the Grand Cherokee one of the best off-roader out there. It will also come with a Quadra-Trac LL that has Mud, Sand, Snow, Rock and Auto modes.
The Grand Cherokee base price tag starts from $28,795.
