Army/BRT: Army Says Crushed Soldier Was Not Riding On BRT Lane

The Nigerian Army has debunked the statement that the soldier who was crushed by a BRT bus along Ikorodu expressway in Lagos was riding on the BRT lane.

The headquarters of 81 Division, in a press release, explained that even the BRT driver was not plying on the BRT lane when he killed the Lance corporal around Obanikoro with the bus with registration number KSF 995 XJ, on July 4, 2014.

The The Deputy Director of Army Public Relations, Lt Col. Omale Ochagwuba, also debunked the claim that soldiers attacked and vandalized BRT buses, describing it as totally untrue.
