Zagat Survey
announced New York’s latest crop of up-and-coming chefs, mixologists, restaurateurs
and industry trailblazers under the age of 30.This year’s list spotlights a
third-generation noodle master, a grilled cheese guru and self-proclaimed “ham
lady.”
"New York City is a hub for emerging chefs and cutting edge
restaurants and this year these nominees really bring the heat," says
honoree Sam Wasser, 27, creative director and partner at ESquared
Hospitality.
"Opening up Horchata in less than three weeks has to be my biggest and
most challenging accomplishment to date in the Big Apple, not to mention being
included in Zagat's 30 Under 30 list," she adds.
