United are willing to offer Juventus £40m plus striker
Javier Hernandez for Arturo Vidal,
according to reports in Chile.
United have been chasing Vidal all summer and the
Red Devils are hoping that this latest bid will finally bring an end to the
transfer saga.
According to Chilean newspaper, La Tercera, United are
willing to splash £40m on Vidal, as well as adding Mexican Hernandez to the
deal.
Hernandez has been urged to quit Old Trafford by his
international boss Miguel Herrera, and it appears as though Louis
van Gaal is willing to let him go.
The striker's agent, his father Eduardo, has confessed that
no move has been completed yet but a resolution is on the cards.
"For now there are just rumours so I can not explain
the situation," Eduardo Hernandez told La Tercera.
"I still have no news over an eventual swap deal as it
has been said in England. But soon we have to have news."
