According to her, after having two kids from her former marriage, she it never
crossed her mind to remarry.
In an exclusive interview with Nigeriafilms, the actress-cum-activist she and her husband understand each other, saying they both ignore negative parts of their marriage, while embracing the positive parts.
Foluke further advised young people not to rush into marriage.
“My advice to young people is ‘don’t rush’. When I was married, and I missed it the first time, I didn’t want to get married the second time because I thought since I already had two kids, I didn’t need to get married the second time.
“However, I discovered that if you can actually be complete in yourself, be yourself, you will enjoy that companion. It is not like everybody is perfect, we all have our misdeeds, but it’s just for you to face the positive and ignore the negative and be able to respect each other. It comes with challenges, like my husband and I, we argue a lot and all that, but then, it’s just the fact that we understand ourselves just beyond being married, but having true friendship,” she told NigeriafilmsPopular Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola has given disclosed that she never wanted to give marriage another chance after her first one crumbled.
