Phil Spector finally let it be.
First Spector was unmasked in the courtroom. Now the former hit-making
record producer has been revealed once more in an unflattering mug shot from
behind bars.
Gone is the teased out blond Afro wig Spector made famous during his
six-year long legal fight to beat murder charges stemming from the 2003 killing
of actress Lana Clarkson at his Los Angeles-area mansion. Spector was convicted
in 2009 of second-degree murder and sentenced to 19 years in prison.
Spector, now 74, is looking every bit his age in a recently released
prison mug shot from 2013, as reported
on The Smoking Gun.

The rich, lustrous look he attempted to pull off for so many years was
all a sham. Spector is bald with long, wild hair on the sides.
