Two students, nine felony charges and one "teacher with
benefits."
Brianne Altice was already set to stand trial for four felony rape and
sodomy charges on a 16-year-old boy.
But after a Friday hearing where a second victim called her a
"teacher with benefits," a Farmington judge added five extra charges
to her upcoming trial, the Salt Lake Tribune reported.
She now faces nine felony charges: three counts of rape and one charge
of sodomy for her first victim and one count of rape, one count of sodomy and
three counts of forcible sexual abuse for her second.
The second victim said he was 17 years old when he started a sexual
relationship with the former Davis High School teacher in April 2013. It went
on until that June, he said.
It started with kissing between classes, he said at a Friday
hearing.
Eventually, they had sex, he claimed.
The now 18-year-old victim's accusations are similar to
those of Altice's first alleged victim.
In October 2013, the first student claimed he had a sexual
relationship with the teacher between January and September of that year.
She was arrested and placed on paid leave. She bailed out of
jail for $10,000.

She was arrested in October after the first student came forward. On Friday, a
second student testified he, too, had sex with her.
She was eventually fired on Feb. 3.
In a February hearing, the first boy reaffirmed his claims
and a judge handed down the first four charges.
The 35-year-old teacher had worked in the school district
since 2004, and took a job teaching English in the high school in 2012.
Altice's next court appearance is Oct. 9.
