West Indian Day Parade 2014: Thousands flock to colorful parade
It was a feast for the senses at
the annual West Indian Day Parade as colorful floats, extravagant costumes,
politicians and merrymakers marched through the streets of Brooklyn on Sept. 1,
2014.
Revelers brought an explosion of
color to the streets of Brooklyn as they took part in the annual West Indian
Day Parade on Sept. 1, 2014. The Labor Day festival saw thousands flock to the
New York City borough to celebrate everything Caribbean -- from loud music and
even louder costumes.
