I Am Not A Mermaid—Tope Alabi Cries Out

Top gospel singer, Tope Alabi has finally reacted to rumour making the rounds that she confessed being a mermaid in an audio recording. The former goddaughter to late man of God, Ireti Ajanaku, disclosed that she was dumbfounded after listening to the purported self audio confession.

According Tope Alabi, she does not know how such audio recording having her exact voice came about. She denied any knowledge of the recording.

Speaking on a radio show recently, the award-winning singer explained that she first got a hint of the rumour when she was out of the country. The singer said someone called her from Nigeria about it but that she never took the matter serious and thought it was just a media stunt until a pastor called her attention to it when she returned to Nigeria.

Tope Alabi disclosed that after listening to the audio recording, she could not believe her ears. The singer said knowing the spreading of the works of Jesus Christ is the only confession she has made.
