Surprise! The latest instant Beyonce
album isn't a wholly new work — as has lately been rumored — but essentially a
retread of last year's release.
The album, dubbed "Beyonce Platinum Edition Box Set," does
have a few added bells and whistles, not to mention a couple of absolutely new
tracks.
The two fresh songs included with the release, out November 24th, are
titled "7/11" and "Ring Off." The quadruple box set will
also boast four unreleased remixes, including the one for "Flawless"
with Nicki
Minaj, already floating around in video form.
To that will be added remixes for "Drunk In Love," with Jay-Z
and Kanye
West, "Blow," with Pharrell
Williams, and "Standing In the Sun," with Mr.
Vegas.
The Live DVD boasts ten performances shot during the "On The
Run" tour, which paired Bey with Jay-Z.
That live video set includes "Run The World (Girls),"
"Flawless," "Get Me Bodied." "Blow,"
"Haunted," "Drunk In Love", 1+1," Partition,"
"Heaven," and "XO."
To this, the tricked out set tacks on the original self-titled visual
album, with its full fourteen songs and 17 videos.
Oh yes - there's one more feature: a mini-version of the official 2015
Beyonce calendar.
"Beyonce Platinum Edition" is now available for pre-order.
