Philadelphia attorney had sex with 14-year-old girl in office, told victim he liked them young: DA

A pervy Philadelphia attorney is facing a list of charges after having sex with a 14-year-old human-trafficking victim up to a dozen times in his downtown office, prosecutors said.

Brian Meehan, 56, is accused of having sex with a 14-year-old sex trafficking victim in his Philadelphia office. He allegedly told his victim that he likes little girls and his youngest was 12.Brian Meehan, 56, turned himself in to police Tuesday after an investigation into a sickening trafficking ring led federal agents to his luxury office building last month.

There, District Attorney Seth Williams said Meehan, who is married with three daughters, would have vaginal and oral sex with the child during work hours.
He also told the child that he preferred young girls and that his youngest victim was a 12-year-old, Williams said.

"There is a special place in hell for people like Brian Meehan," Williams said at a press conference announcing his arrest, according to Philly.com.
Center City law firm at One Penn Center (pictured) in Philadelphia is where Meehan allegedly had sex with a 14-year-old girl who was the victim of a human trafficking ring.
The disturbing revelations came to light after the child was interviewed by federal authorities in March, unraveling a disturbing story of her being recruited by a couple in a Germantown, Pa. neighborhood in March of 2012.
For the next month she worked as a prostitute in Philadelphia while under threats that she would be beaten or killed if she refused to cooperate or tried to run away, said Williams.

In April, she was sold to a man in Camden, N.J. for several hundred dollars and soon after taken to a hospital for severe vaginal pain and trauma.
Before authorities could interview her she was taken from the hospital and returned to the Germantown couple who have yet to be publicly identified due to authorities' continuing investigation, Williams said.

From there she was sent to Georgia by a pimp who recruited her. The girl worked there for about a year before she was identified by federal authorities as a human trafficking victim and interviewed.
Authorities said they suspect Meehan was not the only one to have sexually abused her but he is the only one she's been able to successfully identify.
She told authorities that she was introduced to Meehan because he had previously represented the Germantown couple in court.

"During testimony to the Grand Jury, the 14-year-old victim was able to describe Meehan's office and the interactions she had with him in the office," prosecutors said. "She testified that Meehan engaged in vaginal and oral intercourse with her on several occasions. She also testified that Meehan told her he knew that she was only 14-years-old, that he liked younger girls, and that the youngest girl he had sex with was a 12-year-old."
A search of Meehan's office on Oct. 10 recovered evidence consistent of sexual acts taking place there, said Williams.
He was fired from the law firm Bishop, Dorfman, Lazaroff & Meehan that same month, Philly.com reported.

Meehan is charged with: involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, corrupting the morals of a minor, indecent assault, promoting prostitution of a minor, and patronizing prostitutes for sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old girl.
