Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has
warned the Premier League
his side are now back to their best and ready to fight to retain their title.
Chelsea are currently at the summit, six points
ahead of the reigning champions, who thumped Sunderland 4-1 on Wednesday night thanks
to another Sergio Aguero masterclass.
But
after starting the season with some patchy form, Pellegrini is now confident
his charges are hitting their straps as they look to lift the trophy for the
second season running.
The
Chilean boss said: "I think we are returning to the performances we had
last season.
“If
we continue playing this way of course we will fight for the title, but I think
three or four other teams will also be there."
