Chelsea
and Wolfsburg
are still locked in negotiations over a deal for Andre
Schurrle, according to reports.
Schurrle was absent from Chelsea's squad as they were dumped out of the
FA Cup by Bradford on
Saturday, with the Germany international ruled out due to injury.
The 24-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford
Bridge during the January transfer window as clubs in the Bundesliga eye his
services.
Wolfsburg are said to be leading the chase and reports claim they have
lodged a £22m bid for the winger.
But, according to Sky Italia, Chelsea and Wolfsburg are no nearer to
concluding a deal for Schurrle.
The former Bayer Leverkusen man is reportedly tempted by a
return to Germany, but
the Blues are reluctant to let him leave unless a replacement can be found.
Juan Cuadrado is on Jose Mourinho's radar should Schurrle leave, although
Fiorentina do not want to sell the Colombian winger this month.
