Also visits the Wendy Williams and Jon Stewart shows
Another day, another couple of coats.
For a visit to the “Wendy Williams Show” on Tuesday, Lopez wore a
robe-style black coat tied at the waist with a black fur scarf and ankle-strap
stilettos.
After that, the modern-day diva changed into a cream Dior coat with fur
trim on the collar and sleeves while heading to the “Daily Show With Jon
Stewart” studio in Midtown. On her way out of the taping, Lopez changed into a
black-and-white Armani A-line coat with a grid pattern over her Andrew Gn
dress.
Of course, a new day meant another new coat. Lopez wore a classic wool
Brunello Cucinelli number while leaving an office building Thursday morning.
“She’s representing three different aspects of her personality,” says
stylist Nikole Powers. “There’s Jenny from the block, Jennifer Lopez and J.Lo.”
The camel coat is casual and relatable; the sophisticated printed princess coat
is Jennifer Lopez; and the probably mink-trimmed winter white number is J.Lo.
“One day she’s very glamorous, one day sexy,” says Powers. “She’s
touching all of those avenues and relating to every girl’s fashion fantasy.”
In other words, we’re all just riding J.Lo’s coattails.
