Chelsea's assistant manager Steve Holland says the
club are not interested in signing anyone in January - not even Lionel Messi.
The Barca master is apparently
unhappy in Spain and could be available in a £500million deal but the Chelsea coach
says it would be impossible to land the forward and remain within Financial
Fair Play rules.
Jose Mourinho's club is one of only a handful in the world who could
possibly afford the Argentinean - with some careful accounting - but The
Special One's right-hand man has ruled it out.
"Jose has made it clear that in this transfer window nobody stays
and nobody goes," Holland said.
"Sometimes a club has to be reactive, but the hope is that nobody
stays or leaves. We're happy with what we have.
