Theo Walcott has rubbished claims he
has fallen out with Arsene Wenger and has upset Arsenal chiefs.
The winger has under 18 months to
run on his current deal and reports have claimed that he is demanding more than
£100,000-per-week to pen an extension.
That is said to have caused tension
within the club, and there were claims the Walcott had a run-in with Wenger
during a training session last week.
However, the reports have come as a
shock to the England international, who insists he has yet to open contract
talks and remains on good terms with the Gunners boss.
"I don't normally comment on
false stories about myself but reports about contract demands & bust-ups
with the boss are complete nonsense," Walcott tweeted on his account
@theowalcott.
"There have been no contract
talks as yet and my current focus is not on contracts but on doing my best for
Arsenal FC."
