For decades, the different Malt Drinks in Nigeria have been involved
in a very fierce battle for market supremacy, which as we all know only
the strong will survive and indeed survived as you would come to find
out later.
With several promos and offers, these brands are relentless, as
they’re throwing everything into the contest—wooing of customers in the
most populous black nation.
Despite their efforts over the years, only few of these brands have survived the heat.
Amstel Malt by Nigeria Breweries and Malta Guiness by Guiness Nigeria
are some of the malt drinks in the country that have been able to
survive the fierce competition.
Malta Guinness
Malta Guinness was introduced into the market in 1990 by Nigeria Guinness Plc.
It came with great taste and, above all, no after-taste.
This feat was a big relief for consumers. Soon, a generally accepted
rumour spread like a wild fire, stating that Malta Guinness acts as a
blood booster or blood tonic.
Malta Guinness is brewed with only the finest ingredients; Sucrose,
Maize, Sorghum, Barley, Malt extract, Sorghum Malt, Caramel, Hops,
