Miss BumBum Pageant returned to the hospital with infected butt implant

All that junk in the trunk is making her sick.

Cheeky Brazilian model Andressa Urach has returned to the hospital to fight a nasty infection from her prodigious butt implants.

 

The 2012 runner-up in the annual Miss BumBum pageant nearly died in December when her body rejected a hydrogel infusion in her thigh, and she landed back in the hospital on Friday as doctors tried to undo some of her backside-ballooning cosmetic surgery, the 27-year-old beauty wrote on Instagram.

“Thanks to God I no longer need my body to work,” Urach told the Mirror newspaper from her hospital bed. “Now I can work with honor and can sustain my family like that.

“I prefer to have legs and be able to walk and lose half a buttock than to die.”

Urach, who once claimed to have had an affair with soccer heartthrob Cristiano Ronaldo, has become a walking warning label for Brazil’s obsession with medically concocted beauty.

The country was second only the U.S. in the number of cosmetic surgeries and nonsurgical procedures in 2013, according to the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Urach, who was known for her impossibly curvaceous bottom, spent about a month in intensive care at the end of 2014. Doctors had to drain the foreign substances and stanch a life-threatening infection to save her leg.

She started feeling pain in her leg late last week and learned dangerous inflation was again laying waste to her once-coveted body.

She posted pictures of herself in a hospital gown along with Bible passages as she asked supporters to pray.

“Have Faith!!!” she wrote.
