Paris Saint-Germain
president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has rubbished talk that Edinson Cavani will leave - but remained coy on a
move for Paul Pogba.
Cavani has been linked with a summer switch away from the
French capital, with Arsenal and Manchester United reportedly interested.
Meanwhile, PSG have themselves been linked with their own
blockbuster bid as the French champions eye up Juventus star Pogba.
And while Al-Khelaifi has revealed Cavani will not be sold,
he has remained coy on Pogba's possible arrival after reports claimed he spoke
with the midfielder.
"Why did I meet with Pogba? Because he's a great
talent, he's French and he's from Paris. That said, all the big clubs want
him," Al-Khelaifi told Le Parisien.
"As for Cavani, I've not met him yet, but he's still
young, he's the future of the club. He just needs more confidence, but he
showed his talent in the last game.
"He'll be here again next year. We won't even consider
any offers."
