Udinese and Deportivo La Coruna are
leading the chase to sign Tottenham's highly-rated youngster Grant Ward.
Ward has been earning rave reviews following his recent loan move to Coventry and his
performances have not gone unnoticed.
The 20-year-old has failed to make his breakthrough into the
first-team at White Hart Lane but is determined to get regular first-team football.
Ward enjoyed a successful spell with Chicago Fire in the MLS
last year and has been impressive for Coventry over the last few weeks.
With fellow youngsters Ryan Mason and Nabil Bentaleb
securing their places in the Spurs first-team, Ward knows he faces an uphill
battle to break into the squad and Mauricio Pochettino could allow him to leave
during the summer.
