Gov. Cuomo and Timothy Cardinal Dolan will join forces Tuesday to push
for a controversial tax credit to benefit parochial and private schools.
The pair will attend two events to support giving tax breaks to people
who donate to public and private schools. It has strong support from
Senate Republicans, but is opposed by Assembly Democrats. Cuomo and
Dolan also want to create a DREAM Act giving tuition aid to the college
kids of undocumented immigrants.
