Cuomo, Cardinal Dolan to push for tax credit to benefit parochial, private schools

Gov. Cuomo and Timothy Cardinal Dolan will join forces Tuesday to push for a controversial tax credit to benefit parochial and private schools.

Cuomo will join forces with Cardinal Egan to push for the controversial tax credit.

The pair will attend two events to support giving tax breaks to people who donate to public and private schools. It has strong support from Senate Republicans, but is opposed by Assembly Democrats. Cuomo and Dolan also want to create a DREAM Act giving tuition aid to the college kids of undocumented immigrants.
