The former Barcelona and Benfica
forward, who is also being tracked by Porto, made his break through with Spain last
year, winning his first senior cap in November.
That, and a string of good displays in La Liga, has alerted
a number of clubs around Europe, including Roberto Martinez at Goodison Park.
The player himself, officially called Manuel Agudo Durán but
known as Nolito, claims his contract and buy-out clause mean his future is
likely to be with his current club.
He said: "I've had calls for five straight days from
journalists and I honestly do not know if what is said is true or not.
"I just wanted to go and holiday and that is what God
wants.
"I never say never because I know what can happen, but
I am looking at Celta next season, especially since I still have four years
left on my contract.
"I have a clause of £13m (18m Euros) and the club has
to decide. I do not think any team will pay that."
