Middlesbrough defender Jonathan Woodgate yet to decide on future

Middlesbrough defender Jonathan Woodgate has revealed he has not made any decisions over his future yet

The former Real Madrid centre-back's contract expires at the end of the season and he was an unused substitute as his boyhood club were beaten in the play-off final against Norwich City at Wembley.

Boro boss Aitor Karanka persuaded the veteran defender against retiring from football earlier this season after a glut of injury problems and Woodgate has repaid that faith with a string of impressive performances during the club's promotion charge.

When asked about whether he will be extending his stay at the Riverside, the 35-year-old said: "It's not about me, it's about the team."
He added: "I've not even thought about it."

Woodgate re-joined Boro in July 2012 on a three-year deal from Stoke City and has made nine appearances this season.
