Ed Winter, Los Angeles County Coroner's Assistant Chief of Investigations, said his office received a terse letter from the state nursing board announcing its probe of Scroggins was dropped.

Allegations not sustained,” the letter read. “Case closed.”
“Most people that I run into think she died on the table, they don’t even know this lady was home for a day,” said Adams. “The truth hasn't been revealed.”

Scoggins — a registered nurse with a Ph.D. in public health — took charge of Donda’s post-surgery care despite Adams’ recommendation of a private recovery center, according to Adams.
