In their bid to get
the policy direction of the current administration ahead of the
appointment of ministers as well give reports of activities from May 29, permanent secretaries from ministries are currently meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari to discuss issues in government.

Two permanent secretaries- Musa Istifanus
from water resources,and Sunny Echeno from the agriculture ministry, are
in State House Abuja, in continuation of yesterday’s meeting
of President Buhari with Ahmed Idris, the Accountant General of the
Federation and Anastasia Daniel Nwobia, permanent secretary, ministry of
finance.
During the meeting, they are expected to clarify
issues relating to their respective ministries in the handover notes
submitted by the out-gone President Goodluck Jonathan administration.
Their response, analysts believe, will assist
the current a president in appreciating some issues of governance and be
part of the planks for the policy thrust of the government.
