lesbian couple were ordered to stop kissing by a security guard at a food festival after people complained that their behaviour was 'disgusting'.

Mog Wilde and girlfriend Freya, both 35, from Pembrokeshire, were visiting the Cardiff Food Festival where they claim they were 'affectionately holding hands and kissing' as they danced to live music.
But the couple said they were left shaken and upset when people started to complain, saying their actions were 'obscene' and 'disgusting'.

I am quite fierce and not a shy girl so I brushed it off. But it did leave me a bit shaky.'

In a show of support to the girls two men also began publicly kissing and received a round of applause and cheers from onlookers.
Ms Wilde added: 'These two men were complete strangers and I think in a drunken show of outrage and support they started kissing and some of the crowd cheered them on.

'This was so upsetting. I'm sure if it was a husband and wife kissing then nothing would be said. But I am made of tough stuff and I am just glad that it did not happen to other more quiet and sensitive girls.
'I spend a lot of time in my private space and don't often go to public events like that so I am not confronted with things like this often. Growing up I encountered a lot of prejudicial behaviour but I left that behind.
'So I was shocked to encounter something like this again.
'This happened on the same day Gay Pride was happening only 30 miles away in Bristol. It is 2015 not 1815. We honestly did not think this would happen here.'

A Cardiff council spokesperson said: 'At approximately 3pm on Saturday, July 11 festival stewards received a number of complaints from members of the public about a couple who were engaged in a very strong display of public affection at the festival.
'Once the couple in question had been identified a steward approached them and reminded them that sexual behaviour of this level was inappropriate for what is very much a family event.
'At no time did any Council employee ask the couple to leave.
'The council has stringent policies on equalities and discrimination and the same course of action would have been taken regardless of the sexual orientation of the individuals involved.'
