The Bauchi State Government says it will continue to partner with Czech Republic to boost tourism potential of the state.

This is contained in a press statement signed by Ibrahim Sani, Director Press to the Governor on Monday in Bauchi.
It stated that the partnership between
the two parties would boost wild life conservation and anti-poaching
measures toward attending world class practices.
It stated that Gov. Mohammed Abubakar,
had led a delegation to the Czech Republic where the parties held series
of meetings with technical partners.
The statement stated that the agreement
focused on the development of the Yankari Game Reserve, Sumu Wild life
Park and other conservation potential of the state.
It stated that the agreement would also harness the agriculture potential of the state and the country at large.
The statement emphasized that youths and
other stakeholders would be involved in the development of small and
medium scale farming using affordable mechanisation.
It stated that Bauchi State delegation
also visited the Department of Tropical Agriculture, Life Sciences
University, Prague, Czech Republic.
The statement added that the visit to
fine tune educational cooperation between the state university in Gadua
and Life Sciences University, Prague, Czech Republic.
According to the statement, the
cooperation between the two universities will be in the areas of
lecturers and students exchange programme and the establishment of
Faculty of Agriculture.
Meanwhile, all necessary technical and
bilateral details will soon be worked out by relevant government
agencies and organisations.
