The former West Ham playmaker has been training with the
Hornets this week and the club are now in the final stages of agreeing a
permanent deal with Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande for the Italian.
Speaking to the media ahead of Saturday's home game against
West Brom, Flores said: "He's in a good level, we are arranging the last
details and I think Diamanti has the possibility to co-operate with the squad.
"It will be difficult [to be registered] for Saturday
but it's close."
The Spanish coach also revealed he will make late decisions
on the fitness of midfielders Almen Abdi and Steven Berghuis after the pair
missed last weekend's 2-2 draw with Everton.
