Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner sure look happy for a pair of exes.
The estranged spouses were spotted smiling while leaving an appointment Thursday in Los Angeles.

The reason the two seem to be on friendlier terms could be because of
reports that the couple have returned to marriage counseling.
According to People,
the couple were seen departing a family counseling center in Los
Angeles, where they had attended weekly counseling sessions before
deciding to separate.
The two reportedly stopped going in the months leading up to their
split, and Garner and Affleck's recent visit to the center marks their
first time going since their divorce announcement in June.
The movie star couple have endured a rocky road since confirming their
split after 10 years of marriage, with rumors circulating that the
“Argo” star’s alleged affair with former nanny Christine Ouzounian led
to the breakup.
While neither were seen wearing wedding rings during their Thursday
outing, Affleck and Garner’s sunny disposition also indicates that the
pair want to maintain a united front for the sake of their three
children: Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3.
The photo of the grinning exes also served as a marked contrast to their
tense demeanor when pictured together following their divorce
announcement, such as the family’s trip to Disney World last month to celebrate Affleck’s birthday.
Garner, who recently returned to Los Angeles from Atlanta after shooting the film “Miracles from Heaven,” was reportedly reconsidering her and Affleck's plan to live on the same property because of the cheating allegations.
But it seems that the Oscar winner is keeping close to his family now that the clan is back in L.A.
According to People, Garner and the kids are staying in the family’s home while Affleck is staying in a rental down the street.
But fans of the couple shouldn't get their hopes up for a reunion, since sources tell TMZ that there is no chance that the two will reconcile.
"The damage is already done," a source told the site. "They're leading separate lives."
