The 2015 Open Budget Survey conducted by SEND-Ghana indicates that Ghana
lacks transparency in the preparation of annual budgets.
The country scored 51% below the set target of sixty-seven.
The survey also shows that Ghana's
performance in making available eight key budget documents to the public
has not been encouraging.

The report said Ghana which is among one hundred and two countries surveyed in the latest report is struggling to meet its set target of sixty-seven by 2016.
The Country Director of SEND-Ghana, George Osei Bimpeh, who was speaking at the launch of the survey in Accra, said government needs to strengthen the pillars of budget systems.
