Nigeria- In its bid to transform the mind-set of its customers and
stakeholders to embrace the cashless policy set by the Central Bank of
Nigeria, leading Nigerian bank – Union Bank has continued to dough out
fantastic prizes in its “Activate & Win” promo.

The “Activate and Win” promo will reward Union bank customers who
collect and activate their MasterCard, Visa and Verve debit cards. New
customers also stand a chance to win by walking into any Union bank
branch, opening an account, collect and activate their debit cards.
Customers who collect and activate their debit cards win instant prizes
and stand a chance to win the grand prize of an all-expense paid trip to
Dubai.
In a statement released by the Bank, Head Corporate Affairs &
Communications Ms. Ogochukwu Ekezie –Ekaidem said, “the initiative is
part of our transformation drive to create value for our customers and
significantly improve customer experience at all our touch points.
Customers stand a chance to win fantastic prizes and a grand prize of an
all-expense paid trip to Dubai while enjoying distinctive quality
service using the Union Bank cards and platforms for all their
transactions”.
Union Bank created the promo as a means to encourage customers and
stakeholders to embrace the cashless initiative which is set to roll out
nationwide and also reward customers for their loyalty.
A total of 24 winners have emerged in the first and second draws held
in July 8 and August 12, 2015 respectively. The winners went home with
household appliances like generators, fridges, televisions and loads of
recharge cards. The final draw will be held on September 22 where a total of 13 winners will emerge with 1 person winning the grand prize of an all-expense paid trip to Dubai.
