Globacom has launched an unprecedented promotion that will give back
to subscribers on the network the full value of all the calls, SMS and
data they use in a day absolutely free the next day.
Launching the
promo tagged Free Tomorrow promo yesterday in Lagos, Globacom’s
manager, Devices and Partnership, Mr Odafe Akerejola said the promo will
redefine how telecoms operators reward consumer loyalty.
He noted
that the value in the promo is unprecedented in the 14 years history of
telecoms in the country, adding that “This is the next biggest thing
after per second billing which Globacom pioneered in the Nigerian
telecoms industry”.
Akerejola said Free Tomorrow measures exactly
the value of how much data and airtime a subscriber uses in a day for
all his telecoms transactions and then credits the subscriber the next
day with the same value of the previous day’s usage for free.
“For
instance, if a Globacom subscriber uses N500 credit in a day on calls,
SMS and data, Globacom will give him back N500 credit the very next day.
It is like going to a first class restaurant to have a sumptuous meal
and being served the full value and quantity of food the next day, free
of charge,” Akerejola explained.
According to him, since there is
an average of 30 days in a month, the Free Tomorrow offers the
subscriber a golden opportunity to make calls, browse the net and send
SMS for 30 days and only pay for 15 days.
He added that what
Globacom has done with the offer is to address the challenges and
limitations people have keeping up with the financial demands of making
calls to their loved ones or browsing the internet for learning,
business or social purposes. He said the promo will last till January
next year or for as long as Globacom customers found value in the
package.
“The uniqueness of Free Tomorrow is that the free credit
can be used anyhow the subscriber wishes for calls to any network or for
data. The subscriber can also use the bonus credit to call friends,
family and business associates in any five of the most frequently called
countries by Nigerians including Unites States of America, China,
India, Canada and land lines in the United Kingdom.” Akerejola
explained.
He said the Free Tomorrow offer is for prepaid
subscribers, and urged those interested in enjoying the amazing benefits
to dial *300# to subscribe. Subscription to the offer is free.
Earlier
in his welcome address, Globacom’s Retail and Consumer Sales Chief, Mr
David Maji said, “Globacom is a world-class brand dedicated to providing
world-class voice and data services. We are more committed to providing
best value-for-money and making our products and services accessible to
our current and prospective subscribers”.
