Famous exes Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez got back together — for a new song, at least.

The former lovers stunned fans on Saturday night when they dropped an unexpected collaboration
entitled "Strong" — in which they appear to address their tumultuous past relationship.
"You're the only one I'm really missing," Bieber sings. "Nobody else
would be forgiving, cause of all the love that you give me."
Gomez then responds to her former flame, singing "Wishing I was better
at this damn thing, cause it's just been too long and I can't change."
It's the first time the highly publicized stars have recorded a song
together, despite the fact they dated on-and-off for roughly four years
between 2010 and 2014.
Last month, Gomez told Elle magazine
that she still considers Bieber a "genuinely" good friend despite being
broken up, adding that she didn't know if they would ever get back
together.
"I'll forever support him and love him in a way," Gomez told the magazine. "We grew up together."
Two weeks later, Bieber, 21, admitted to Complex that the two singers were so deeply in love that he struggled to have his own identity while they were together.
"We were so in love. Nothing else mattered," he told the magazine. "We
were all about each other. But when it's like that and you get your
value from that, people will always disappoint you. Your girl or your
dude, they're always going to disappoint you."
It's unknown if the duo's surprising new track, which was released on
Drake's OVO Sound Radio, will be featured on Bieber's new album,
"Purpose," which is set to be released on Nov. 13.
Gomez, meanwhile, released a new album of her own, titled "Revival," earlier this month.
