Newcastle were dealt a massive blow on Wednesday when news
filtered through that Tim Krul would miss the remainder of the Premier League
season.
The Dutch goalkeeper picked up the
knee injury while on international duty, despite Steve McClaren being told by Krul only hours
before that he would be on the bench for the game.
Now McClaren has revealed his dismay at the news by saying Krul is worth between "18-20
points" to Newcastle this season.
And, with the Toon having only picked up three points in the
league so far, fans are not too confident for the games ahead with the former
England manager's latest comments.
