The 44-year-old singer, who entered the stage at the Las Vegas’ Orleans
Arena via hoverboard, dissed the Aussie rapper during her monologue.
"As you know, I am the queen of neo soul and people say I have this
common effect on rappers: that I make them change gods and wear crochet
hats, shoulder pads,” Badu, 44, said.
“So they have banned me from all of the hip-hop awards with a sign saying ‘Erykah Badu, leave our rappers alone.’”
Life would be wonderful if women celebrated each other instead of emulating garbage like @fatbellybella You have my support @IGGYAZALEA

The “On & On” singer then continued the bit by supposedly taking a phone call from Azalea.
"Who is this? Iggy Azalea?
Yeah, hey! No, no, no, no, no, no, no! You can come,” she shouted into
her phone. “Because what you’re doing is definitely not rap.”
Later Badu retweeted a post which read: “Life would be wonderful if
women celebrated each other instead of emulating garbage like
@fatbellybella. You have my support @IGGYAZALEA. She replied: “Kill joy” and continued to retweet raves from fans who enjoyed her hosting skills.
