Blues supporters critical of Ruben Loftus-Cheek's development at Stamford Bridge

Since this was said by the Portuguese, however, he has been given just 45 minutes of action, with the Chelsea manager remaining loyal to his experienced players despite their poor form.

Jose Mourinho has insisted that Ruben Loftus-Cheek is being given his chance in the Chelsea first-team
Over the past few weeks, reports have suggested that the England Under-21 international could be forced to leave on loan in January, but Mourinho has insisted that this won't be the case and has urged for patience in his development.

However, with the likes of Dele Alli, 19, and Eric Dier, 21, earning a regular place in the Tottenham Hotspur side and subsequently being called up to the senior England squad this season, Chelsea fans remain frustrated.

And with Kenedy having played the full 90 minutes against Norwich City at the weekend, disappointment and bewilderment over Loftus-Cheek's absence is understandable.
