Amid Manchester United and Bayern Munich links
The 22-year-old's previous contract was due to expire at the
end of the season but he has now agreed to stay until 2020.
The attacking midfielder, who was recently ruled out
for the
rest of the season after undergoing knee surgery to repair ligament
damage, has been a target for Manchester United in the past and
was even linked with a move to join brother Thiago Alcantara at
Bayern Munich.
However, Rafinha has now ended all that speculation by
signing a new deal with Barcelona.
The Brazilian's new contract also contains a release-clause
of over £50million.
